The best green bean casserole ever. The taste is rich, creamy, oniony without the canned fillers and fake ingredients. This recipe will be one that you pull out for holiday dinner year after year. I can’t wait for you to try it!

Keto-Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Bacon
  • 8 ounces of White Mushrooms cut into diced pieces
  • 1 medium Onion-cut into rings
  • 3 cans of Cut Green Beans-drained
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

In a pan-fry 4 pieces of bacon, when bacon is done Eat it! but leave the bacon drippings in the pan.

Over a medium heat, add the onion rings to the bacon dripping and fry up until golden brown, then remove from drippings and place on paper towel.

In the same pan, add your mushrooms, with a sprinkling of salt and sauté until the mushrooms have softened a bit.

Add in the green beans, season with salt and pepper to your taste, then add in the heavy whipping cream.

Mix all together to combine, bring to a low boil.

Add the onion rings to the top of the green beans and put into a 350 degree oven.

Cook about 20 minutes until thickened and slightly golden and bubbly throughout.

Notes

Use a stove to oven dish for a one pot meal or you can start on the stove and pour into a baking dish, just make sure to add the onions to the top right before popping into the oven.
